On Monday night, On February 3, the Astrakhan Gas Processing Plant was attacked by drones – Russians complained online about the sounds of explosions and reported a fire in the area of ​​the plant, writes the publication “NBN”.

The regional governor Igor Babushkin confirmed the attack on the fuel and energy complex facility. The Putin official reported a fire when the drone fell, but did not specify where exactly it occurred.

The head of the Central Control Center commented on the night attack of the UAV on the Astrakhan Gas Processing Plant. According to him, this enterprise is one of the key facilities of the aggressor country, which processes gas condensate, as well as produces gasoline, diesel fuel and other products.

Kovalenko added that the strike on the gas processing plant affects the military-industrial complex of the terrorist state, since the fuel and energy sector is the main source of financing for the defense sector of the Russian Federation.
