Doltovchik-Otvet-Captain Ivanov-Tovarov-Povitov died while carrying out a combat mission.
The 831st Tactical Aviation Brigade reported this.
“Only the best warriors in the world can defend Ukraine so bravely and fight so desperately in the skies for almost three years of a full-scale war. We sadly report an irreparable loss… Our comrade, a great patriot of his country, Air Force fighter pilot Captain Ivan Bolotov, did not return from a combat mission,” the statement said.
The serviceman was 24 years old. But, as the brigade emphasizes, despite his young age, Captain Bolotov was a competent and experienced warrior, “mercilessly beating the occupier at all his approaches and directions of the front.”
“Pilots do not die, they remain in the sky forever… We express our condolences to Ivan's family, he died in battle, like a Hero! He will remain for us an example of great courage, inflexibility and thirst for victory!”, – the brigade added.
