The Ukrainian leader during an online press conference from the UAE capital said that Kyiv will sign an agreement on the use of natural fossils with Washington Only after the finalization of the document, the NBN publication writes.
He explained that in the current version of the Agreement, we are not talking about real security guarantees for Ukraine. The head of state emphasized that this is a fundamentally important aspect, which should include the defense, political and economic obligations of the Allies.
Zelensky is convinced that our country should not be perceived exclusively as a raw material base, the contract with the United States should create new opportunities for development of its economy. The president added that the purpose of the relevant document is to ensure the conditions for the long-term development of Ukraine, and not just the sale of raw materials.
Recall that during the press conference the head of state said that Ukraine does not recognize the results of negotiations between representatives of Moscow and Washington in Saudi Arabia, which will take place without the participation of Kyiv.
