On Sunday morning and evening, according to weather forecasters, thermometers will show -1…+6 degrees Celsius, so only a massive drone-missile strike by the Russian Federation is capable of destabilizing the energy system.

As NBN writes with reference to DTEK’s constantly updated Telegram profile, the production capacities of this energy holding will cover the reduced electricity consumption by the population, and no transition to hourly power outage schedules is expected, either in Kyiv or in the Kyiv region.
Since the February frosts are behind us and the March thaw has begun, the potential of the energy system will not be seriously tested due to the need to heat premises, but household consumers should be more wise in “burning” electricity during peak load hours (9:00-11:00/16:00-22:00) in order not to provoke a return to the emergency power outage mode, as has been observed in recent days.
However, Ukrenergo warns that the situation in the energy system may change at any time, so it is better to monitor current information on the page of the distribution system operator (oblenergo), in particular, information about the shutdown or resumption of electricity supply to household consumers can be found both in the Kyiv Digital application and on the official online pages of DTEK:
- residents and guests of Kyiv;
- living in the Kiev region.
