British intelligence has stated that inflation has risen in the Russian Federation, which is why the Kremlin dictator will be forced to increase spending on military operations against Ukraine.
This was reported by the NBN publication with reference to the page of the Ministry of Defence of the United Kingdom on the social network X (formerly Twitter).
The intelligence report said inflation in the aggressor country is expected to be higher than the Russian Central Bank's target of 4% this year. The Central Bank has been trying to reduce inflation by raising interest rates from 7.5% in June 2023 to 21% in December 2024, but the agency's efforts will not yield results in the near future.
UK intelligence is convinced that most corporate defaults will occur in the terrorist state's civilian sectors, further increasing reliance on the military-industrial complex to stimulate economic activity.
Earlier, the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense, Kirill Budanov, said that a day of war for the Russian Federation costs almost a billion dollars, Moscow spends 41% of its budget on military operations. The general noted that the Russians “will balance” as long as they have gas, oil, precious metals and stones.
Let us recall that British intelligence reported how Putin’s occupation army has changed after three years of full-scale war.
