As NBN reports with reference to the Facebook page of the head of the Ministry of Energy, German Galushchenko, the aggressor country launched a massive missile and drone strike on energy and gas infrastructure facilities in Ukraine.
Based on Galushchenko's words, where the safety situation allows, rescue specialists and power engineering teams are working to eliminate the consequences. In particular, the entire range of necessary measures aimed at stabilizing the energy and gas supply is being undertaken.
The minister added that in this way the terrorist state seeks to cause pain to ordinary Ukrainians, since it deliberately attacks energy and gas production facilities, intending to leave the population without electricity and heat, and at the same time to cause the greatest harm to ordinary citizens.
Galushchenko emphasized the potential introduction of a regime of emergency/stabilization power outages:
The situation in the power grid may change [for the worse]. Follow official announcements.
Earlier we wrote about whether there would be power outages in Kyiv and the Kiev region today.
