As NBN reports with reference to DTEK's updated Telegram profile, the energy holding's generating capacities are capable of covering the reduced level of electricity consumption by the population due to the calendar warming, and it seems that there will be no resumption of hourly power outages, either in the capital or in the Kyiv region.
After energy infrastructure facilities were subjected to a series of serious winter tests, the population needs to use electricity sparingly during peak hours (9:00-11:00/16:00-22:00) to avoid the introduction of emergency shutdowns again, as happened last week.
Regarding the suspension/restoration of electricity supply to household consumers, you can always find out both in the Kyiv Digital application and by visiting the DTEK online pages:
- for Kyiv;
- for Kyiv region.
On the Telegram page of Ukrenergo, they clarified: the dispatch service is forced to constantly improve the electricity redistribution scheme in the system, trying to provide the maximum possible number of consumers with energy resources, taking into account the scale of the consequences of Russian shelling, including the time it will take to repair equipment that has been disabled, as well as the impact of structural restrictions in the relevant area.
