AMD recently launched the Radeon RX 9070 XT graphics card for $599, and this GPU doesn't seem to be as scarce as the GeForce RTX 5070 Ti from its green competitor.

As NBN reports with reference to the AMD Gaming YouTube channel, the official video presentation showed the achievements of the new Radeon RX 9070 XT video card in ray tracing, but the hazy halos, the appearance of artifacts and the “blurring” of details are not very impressive.
In particular, the ToyShop demo features a robot creating a companion for itself. The android aimlessly moves around a house and then flies out into a futuristic cityscape, encountering busy air traffic. The video showcased AMD's advances in its own path tracing technology, a more sophisticated version of the same technology: the video lighting effects are initially surprising, but when moving at speed, the image blurs somewhat, spoiling the impression.
ToyShop shows vehicles during the supersampling noise reduction period, but there are unexplained artifacts on the cars. Also, static buildings and other background objects are similarly distorted due to defocus, which is especially noticeable on the foliage near the park entrance, which is transformed into a blurry mixture of textures.
Thus, the “red” company still loses to Nvidia in image quality.
