As NBN writes with reference to DTEK's updated Telegram channel, the power system's capacity is capable of covering the reduced level of electricity consumption by the population, including due to short-term seasonal warming, which will avoid the resumption of planned power outages both in the capital and in the Kyiv region.
Following a series of severe winter tests that directly affected energy sector facilities, household consumers are advised to use electricity rationally during peak hours (9:00–10:00 and 18:00–22:00) to prevent emergency shutdowns.
On the Telegram page of Ukrenergo, it was specified that the dispatch service is forced to constantly adjust the electricity distribution scheme in order to provide the largest number of consumers with the resource. At the same time, given the consequences of Saturday's Russian strikes on DTEK facilities in a number of regions, the time it takes for damaged equipment to be repaired may be slightly delayed.
Up-to-date information on temporary restrictions/restoration of electricity supply can be found in the Kyiv Digital app or on DTEK's official online resources:
- for Kyiv;
- for Kiev region.
Earlier we reported that on March 15, Russia shelled the energy system in two regions of Ukraine.
