As NBN reports with reference to DTEK's updated Telegram channel, the power system's generation is capable of covering the increased level of electricity consumption by the population, and, despite the unusual cold snap, it is possible to avoid the resumption of emergency power outages in Kyiv and the region.
Following the extended winter testing of power grid facilities, household consumers should use electricity wisely during peak hours (9:00–10:00 and 18:00–22:00) to prevent emergency shutdowns.
The Telegram profile of Ukrenergo specified: dispatchers are constantly adjusting the electricity redistribution scheme, trying to provide the largest number of consumers with energy resources. At the same time, given the recent Russian attacks on DTEK facilities in several regions, the equipment repair process may be slightly delayed.
