As Militarnii writes, UAV operators of the “second army of the world” have begun to use homemade “drops” with chemical substances on the battlefield. To make such ammunition, the enemy uses: a unified fuse of a modernized F-1 hand grenade, plastic explosives, a stabilizer, and adhesive tape.

The warheads for drones are based on ampoules with toxic substances prohibited by the Geneva Protocol – chloroacetophenone (CN) and chlorobenzalmalonodinitrile (CS or “Lilac gas”), writes the NBN publication.

Russian UAV operators drop such homemade munitions from commercial drones such as the DJI Mavic 3 and Autel. The invaders use these drones on the front lines for reconnaissance and fire support.

The weight of the homemade chemical munition is 300 grams. The radius of destruction of such a device is 15 meters. The main purpose of such a “drop” is to affect manpower with toxic substances.

As reported, Kharkiv Mayor Igor Terekhov stated that the Russian Armed Forces have changed the tactics of launching UAV strikes on the regional center.
