As NBN reports with reference to the Institute for the Study of War (ISW) material, units of the Defense Forces of our country managed to advance near Kupyansk (Kharkiv region) and contain the occupiers’ offensive on Zaporozhye.
According to ISW, the “second army of the world” did not stop its offensive in the Kharkiv region, but was unable to advance, “bogged down” in battles near Vovchansk. According to geolocation footage published recently, the Ukrainian Armed Forces achieved some success, advancing south of Zapadny (north of the city of Kupyansk). Also, Putin's troops attempted to attack along the international border near the settlements of Figolivka, Kamenka, Golubovka, Kondrashivka, Mala Shapkovka and Petrovpavlovka, but encountered effective resistance from the Ukrainian Defense Forces.

The day before, on April 5, Putin's army continued its offensive in the western regions of the Zaporizhia region, but was unable to advance: the invaders carried out fruitless attacks near Malaya Tokmachka, Novoandreyevka, Stepnoye, Malye Shcherbaki and Kamenskoye.
