On the night of January 12, the United States and Great Britain struck Houthi targets in Yemen in response to militant attacks on shipping routes in the Red Sea. America, together with its ally, destroyed storage and launch sites for UAVs, cruise missiles, ballistic missiles, as well as air surveillance equipment and radar of the paramilitary group, NBN reports.

As the Turkish publication Hurriyet reports, Erdogan expressed dissatisfaction with the shelling of Houthi targets Ankara's NATO allies, calling the US and British strikes “disproportionate” actions.

The head of Turkey accused Washington and London of allegedly trying to turn the Red Sea into a “bloodbath” with attacks on the Yemeni militant group.

The head of state added that Ankara receives news from various channels, which report that the Houthis are allegedly successfully defending themselves and effectively responding to attacks from America and Britain.
