Nearly half of Polish citizens fear Russian aggression against their country, including some who believe Kremlin dictator Vladimir Putin is hatching such a plan. This is confirmed by the results of a sociological study.

The results of a sociological survey by United Surveys showed that 47.4% of Polish citizens fear that a terrorist state may commit an act of armed aggression against their country, NBN reports with reference to the publication Rzeczpospolita.

12% respondents are convinced that the head of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin is harboring such military plans; more than 35% of respondents rather agree with the statement that the aggressor country may attack Poland in the future.

Another 38.2% of study participants think otherwise : 8.7% of Polish citizens rather disagree with the statement that the Kremlin dictator wants to invade the territory of their country, and 29.5% of respondents categorically do not believe in such a prospect.

Previously, sociologists found out how citizens Poland refers to Warsaw's provision of benefits for refugees from Ukraine.
