About the fact that updating the norms of mobilization legislation in Ukraine is a “significant step” that allows solving certain personnel problems of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, NBN writes, referring to the Institute for the Study of War (ISW).

Analysts Institute for the Study war is believed the entry into force of the “mobilization” bill will open up opportunities to cover the growing shortage of personnel in the Ukrainian army, which is intensively defending on the front line, and restraining the offensive of the Russian occupation forces.

However, Ukraine's potential to defend against the offensive operations of Putin's army, and, as a result, to challenge the Russian initiative on the battlefield, is largely related to the speed of provision of US defense and military assistance and the extension of identical support by Western countries. p>

In ISW added – a lot also depends on the efforts of Ukraine itself regarding the restoration and revival of the existing components of the Defense Forces and opportunities in forming new units.

Earlier we wrote about  that ISW analyzed the effectiveness of the use of UAVs by the Ukrainian Armed Forces in combat against the backdrop of a shortage of ammunition.
