The film “20 days in Mariupol” received an Oscar: Zelensky reacted to the awarding of the documentary film

The Ukrainian film “20 days in Mariupol” directed by Mstislav Chernov won in the “Best Feature Documentary Film” category at the Oscar film awards. Head of State Vladimir Zelensky commented on the awarding of the documentary.

The President recalled in his Telegram channel that more than two years ago the Russian Federation brutally attacked Mariupol. According to the guarantor, Ukrainians will never forget every day of this war and every day of this city, NBN reports.

Zelensky noted that “20 days in Mariupol” is a film that shows the truth about terrorism in the Russian Federation. The Ukrainian leader thanked the team that worked on this documentary and received an Oscar. The President added that this important award allowed us to speak loudly about the Russian war against our country.

The Garant thanked all journalists in the world who understand the importance of truthful coverage of events in Ukraine and talk about its struggle.   Zelensky also stated that we remember everyone who fought for the sake of the city, and must release the defenders and defenders of Mariupol from Russian captivity.
