From April last year to April this year, a slight decrease in food prices was recorded in Ukraine – by 0.8 percent, but during the second spring month, the same figure was only 0.2 percent.

About what food products have become cheaper on the shelves of domestic stores, taking into account the subtle decrease in the speed of the inflation process, writes NBN , referring to the official page of the State Statistics Service of Ukraine (Gosstat).
In in particular, on the domestic consumer market of Ukraine, throughout April, if we compare with March 2024 the cost of a number of food products has dropped like this:
- a dozen chicken eggs have fallen in price by 19.2 percent;
- 1 kilogram of sugar —by 2.4 percent;
- “old harvest” vegetables —by 1.7 percent;
- 1 liter of milk —by 0.3 percent.
At the same time, prices have increased:
- 1  ;kilogram of butter by 1.2 percent;
- fish and related derivatives from by by 1.1 percent.
