As NBN reports, Vladimir Zelensky stated this during his video address to the Ukrainian people on the evening of January 24.

Including the head of the Ministry of Defense Rustem Umerov, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny, the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate Kirill Budanov, the head of the Security Service of Ukraine Vasily Malyuk and the Chief of the General Staff The Ukrainian Armed Forces Sergei Shaptala reported on the situation with the plane and the exchange.

The President said that it is necessary to establish all clear facts. As much as possible, taking into account that the plane crash occurred on Russian territory, beyond our control. Now the main word is the word “facts”. The Main Intelligence Directorate is investigating the fate of all prisoners. The SBU is investigating all the circumstances. I personally instructed the head of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry to inform partners about the available data in Ukraine. Our country will insist on an international investigation, — summed up Vladimir Zelensky.

Recall that we previously wrote that Lubinets and Yusov also commented on the message about the crash of Il-76.
