According to the famous weather forecaster Igor Kibalchich, this year Ukrainians will celebrate the New Year without the happiness of snow. The forecast assumes snowless but slightly rainy weather, especially in the west, north and center of the country, writes WomanEL.
According to the meteorologist, significant precipitation should not be expected on New Year's Eve, December 31. In the south of the country, air temperatures can reach +1-6 °C, while in most areas around 0 °C is expected. The Carpathians can count on mild blizzards and temperatures ranging from -1…-6 °C.

According to the forecast, on the first day of the new year, the influence of the Baltic cyclone and its fronts will spread to almost the entire territory of Ukraine. On January 1, precipitation is expected in the form of rain, clouds and sleet, as well as fog and sometimes sleet. The temperature regime will remain within +3-8 °C, and in the south it can rise to +6-11 °C.
In the center of the country, nature welcomes the New Year in a warm and snowless atmosphere, but in mountainous areas it is possible expect a real winter fairy tale with a slight blizzard and frost. Climate changes are defining new realities for the Ukrainian winter, where snowfalls are more often and quickly replaced by rains, and traditionally white views of New Year's Eve are becoming rare.
