2011 saw the premiere of a new video for the song “Mantra” by Korean singer Jenny, a member of the popular group BLACKPINK.
Jen did not describe “Mantra” as “An ideal song for the beginning of a new era,” meaning that it’s time for her to calm down her rogues, but to imagine herself from a new side. Recording and filming of the video took place in Los Angeles, USA. The clip contains brilliant shots and powerful conceptual ideas, which helped to show all the beauty and charisma of Jenny.
The clip quickly gained popularity – already 7 years after its release, having collected more than 6 million rewatches on YouTube. The video immediately removes caches of video from fans from all over the world and foreign media. Rolling Stone called the song “swanky,” while VOGUE predicted that there will be a great influx, as it will be on the same level as Jenny’s previous hits. Billboard described the track as “a true anthem for beautiful girls.”
