“Troubadour”
On November 1, 2024, the opera “Il Trovatore” by Giuseppe Verdi will be premiered on the stage of the National Opera of Ukraine. The director of the production, driven by his innovative approach, aims to breathe new life into this classic opera, combining traditional elements with modern visual solutions. The leading soloists of the National Opera will perform on stage: Oleg Zlakoman, Gennady Vashchenko, Victoria Chenska, Alla Poznyak, Volodymyr Tishkov and others.
“Stephanik. Novels”
The National Academic Drama Theater named after Lesya of Ukraine requests the premiere of the show “Stephanik. Novelli”. The production, which will be on the 2nd, 3rd and 17th of leaf fall, will entice the peepers to see the works of the famous Ukrainian writer Vasyl Stefanik.
Director Yevgen Khramtsov has collected a number of the author’s iconic short stories to convey the depth of his prose and the unique sense of life and tragedy, the hidden creativity of Stefanik.
“Prometheus Zakutius”
12 leaves fall on the stage of the National Academic Theater named after Ivan Frank for the spectators watches the premiere of the show, which is based on the work of Eschylus, “Prometheus Shrouded”. This classic drama is being staged by the talented Lithuanian director Jokubas Brazis. “Donki” allowed the singers to reveal themselves in the role of actor and reveal the deep story that revolves around the mother and daughter, self-identity and the search for harmony. The producer of the show was Nonna Kondrashova, who provided a unique format and creative support for the project.
“Alice in the Mirror”
On November 30, the choreographic production “Alice in the Mirror” will premiere on the stage of the International Center for Culture and Mysticism (Zhovtneviy Palace). Choreographer Katerina Kurman is working on the staging of this iconic story, creating a new interpretation of the classic work of Lewis Carroll.

The musical score for the production was written by Ukrainian composer Ivan Garkusha (known under the pseudonym John Hope). It combines elements of ambient music, electronics and instrumental music, creating an atmosphere of mystery and magic that ensnares beholders in the fairy world of the Looking Glass. The leading role in the production is played by the iconic artist of the Kiev Modern Ballet Theater Sofia Guseva, whose mastery and sophistication tend to add a special charm.
