From January 31, electronic referrals to the military medical commission (MMC) will appear in the Reserve+ system. WomanEL tells how to pass the MMC according to the new rules.
As reported by the Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine for Digitalization Kateryna Chernogorenko, this step is part of a large-scale reform of the MMC system aimed at increasing transparency and convenience for citizens. According to Chernogorenko, the government supported the relevant changes on January 28. After that, testers began working on launching the service.

First, electronic referrals will be available to individuals who wish to undergo a medical examination on their own initiative. Later, the function will also be available to military conscripts who have received a summons.
Currently, active work is underway to integrate the information systems of the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Defense. This will allow citizens to independently choose a medical institution for undergoing a medical examination without unnecessary delays or paperwork.
Electronic referrals to “Reserve+” are part of a larger reform that includes the introduction of expert teams instead of traditional MSEKs (medical and social expert commissions). From the beginning of 2025, these changes will fully come into effect, providing more convenient access to medical services for military personnel and citizens.
The introduction of electronic referrals not only simplifies the process, but is also an important step in the digitalization of the defense sector, which meets the modern challenges and needs of the Ukrainian army.
