The plot focuses on college student Stephanie, who is haunted by recurring nightmares. She decides to return home, hoping to find a person who can save her family and break the chain of terrible events. This time, death is inherited, which adds a new dimension to the famous series.
The film was directed by Adam Stein and Zach Lipowski, known for their work on “Freaks” and “Kim Possible”. The main roles were played by Caitlin Santa Juana, Theo Briones, Richard Harmon, Owen Patrick Joyner, Rhea Kielstedt and Anna Lorre. Also starring Breck Basinger and Tony Todd, who returns to the role of William Bloodworth, the owner of the funeral home.
