Easter craffin from Hector Jimenez-Bravo: write down the recipe

How to prepare Easter craffin

Dough:

  • 200 ml of milk;
  • 1 tablespoon of sugar;
  • 7 g of dry or 21 g of fresh yeast;
  • 1 tablespoon of flour.

For the dough:

  • 1 egg + 2 yolks;
  • 100 grams of sugar;
  • a pinch of salt;
  • 80 g butter;
  • vanilla flavoring;
  • 450 – 500 g flour.

For the filling:

  • 100 grams of raisins;
  • 60 grams of butter.

Make the dough: mix milk, sugar, yeast and part of the flour. Cover with film and leave.

Knead the dough from all the ingredients, cover with film and set to rise. Divide into parts, roll out, grease with oil, add raisins and form as in the video.

Place in the mold and in a warm place for 40 minutes. Bake at 180° for 35 minutes.

We used to prepare custard cake according to Svetlana Fus’ recipe.
