“Congratulations on the holiday of beauty and femininity!” – this is one of the examples that can cause a feeling of stereotype and carry a negative connotation for a woman, the Ministry of Internal Affairs noted.

The Ministry also offers specific examples of how it is correct and how it is incorrect to congratulate women on this international holiday. In particular, the following formulation is considered unacceptable: “Congratulations, our dears! Let your eyes always shine like the radiance of stars, and your beauty be as charming as you are.”
