American singer Taylor Swift and NFL star Travis Kelce have announced their engagement. The couple shared romantic photos from a photoshoot in a garden adorned with roses, reports Baltimore Chronicle with reference to The Daily Mail.
Taylor Swift captioned the photos on Instagram with a playful note: “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married.” In the images, the artist showcases a luxurious engagement ring featuring a large diamond, crafted by New York jeweler Kindred Libek.
During the photoshoot, Swift wore a striped Ralph Lauren dress in a preppy style, priced at $490, and her favorite Cartier watch worth $18,000. Jewelry expert Nilesh Raholia noted that the diamond in the ring is likely between 7 and 10 carats.
“The design stands out for its combination of vintage charm and modern minimalism. The choice of yellow gold evokes antique motifs, giving the ring a romantic feel and a sense of heirloom,” the expert added, estimating the ring’s value at around one million dollars.
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce first publicly confirmed their relationship in September 2023, when Swift attended a Kansas City Chiefs game at Arrowhead Stadium with Kelce’s mother, Donna Kelce. Since then, Swift has regularly supported Kelce at games, while he has traveled with her around the world during her successful Eras Tour.
Before this engagement, Swift was in a six-year relationship with British actor Joe Alwyn, which ended in April 2023.
