In the 1/16 finals, Elina will play with American Emma Navarro (No. 23 WTA), who beat Ukrainian Lesia Tsurenko in the second round (No. 37 WTA) with a score of 4:6, 7:5, 7:5.
The match lasted 2 hours and 29 minutes. Tsurenko never served through, made 8 double faults and used 8 out of 15 break points.

Due to an injury, Yastremska was unable to complete the match with Briton Emma Raducanu ( No. 250 WTA), withdrawing in the first set after consulting a doctor with the score 4:0 in favor of the British woman. Kalinina lost to Italian Lucia Bronzetti (No. 53 WTA) – 3:6, 4:6.
