The organizers of the international tournament Enhanced Games, scheduled for May 2026 in Las Vegas, have officially allowed athletes from Russia and Belarus to participate under their national flags, using full state symbols and with their anthems to be played in case of victory, reports Baltimore Chronicle.

The competition, already dubbed the “Steroid Games” in the media, will be unique in its approach — the organizers have deliberately rejected any form of doping control. They emphasize that the primary goal of the event is to showcase the human body’s capabilities enhanced by science, rather than conforming to political or sporting standards imposed by the International Olympic Committee.

“We welcome anyone who qualifies. Participants are allowed to compete under their flags, anthems, and national symbols. We honor individual achievements, regardless of a competitor’s country of origin,” said the tournament’s press office in response to a query from TASS.

The Enhanced Games will take place from May 21 to May 24, 2026. The tournament will feature three main disciplines: athletics, swimming, and weightlifting. The event’s infrastructure will be modest, with a four-lane pool, a six-lane running track, and a standard weightlifting platform.

Around one hundred athletes are expected to participate, including Paris Olympic finalists, current world record holders, and promising young sports talents.

One of the expected sponsors of the tournament is Donald Trump Jr. The organizers have introduced impressive prize money: $1 million will be awarded for new world records in the “royal” distances — the 100-meter sprint and the 50-meter freestyle in swimming. For other events, the reward for a new world record will be $250,000. Each discipline will offer a total prize pool of $500,000, half of which will go to the winner.

Organizers emphasized that they do not follow the political decisions of international sports bodies, instead promoting scientific progress and the pursuit of human performance without restrictions.

Earlier we wrote that Belarus returns to international tournaments with full national symbols.
