The Rivne club beat the “brewers” in the standings.
Veres beat Obolon in the opening match of the 23rd round of the Ukrainian Premier League league (UPL). The match at the Avangard stadium in Rivne ended with the score 3:0.
The home team took the lead in the sixth minute of the match – the penalty was converted by Denis Yanakov.
In the 31st minute, the Rivne team doubled its advantage – Nikolai Gaiduchik shot into the near “nine” after a pass from the left flank of Valery Kucherov.
At the end of the game, Oleg Shandruk’s team made the score devastating. In the 86th minute, Iago Siqueira put an end to this match with his goal.

This victory allowed Veres (19 points) to overtake the Brewers in the standings and rise to 13th place. Obolon (18 points) dropped to 14th position. Both clubs are in the zone of transition matches to maintain their registration in the elite division.
In the next round of the UPL, the Rivne club will play against LNZ on April 15, and the Kiev team will host Minai on April 13.
