Victory over the Pitmen brought out the “white and blue” for first place in the Ukrainian U-19 Championship.
Kyiv Dynamo beat Donetsk Shakhtar in the central match on the 28th round of the Ukrainian youth football championship. The match ended with the score 1:2 in favor of the white-blues.
At the end of the first half, Andrei Matkevich took the lead from Kiev. In the 58th minute, Dynamo increased their advantage – Nazar Balaba scored.
In the 62nd minute, the Donetsk team reduced the gap through the efforts of Nikolai Ogarkov, but could not save themselves from defeat.
Note that after the final whistle, a mass brawl almost broke out between the teams. Dynamo players ran onto the field and began to wildly celebrate the victory, which caused discontent in the Pitmen’s camp and led to a crush.
Thanks to the victory in the head-to-head match, Dynamo took first place in the Ukrainian U-19 Championship. With two rounds left, the “white-blues” are two points ahead of the “miners.”
