The famous Ukrainian sports journalist and commentator died at the age of 68 Sergey Saveliy.
The tragic news is reported to Suspilny Sport, citing Savely’s relatives.
Savely worked on Suspilny broadcasting for more than 40 years, 37 of them in sports editors, covered 10 Olympic Games from the scene, including commenting on the first Olympic opening ceremony in the history of independent Ukraine – in 1994 in Lillehammer.
