This was announced by the President of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) Thomas Bach during the 142nd th session of the organization in Paris on the eve of the start of the 2024 Summer Olympics.
The Games in the Alps will take place from February 8 to 24, 2030. France fought for the right to host the 2030 Olympic Games with the USA, Sweden and Switzerland.
France will host the Winter Olympics for the fourth time. The games in 1924 were held in Chamonix-Mont-Blanc, in 1968 in Grenoble, in 1992 in Albertville.
The Games in Salt Lake City will take place from February 10 to 26, 2034. Previously, this American city already hosted the 2002 Winter Olympics.
