Oleksandr Usyk and Daniel Dubois are set for a rematch to determine the undisputed heavyweight boxing champion of the world. The bout will take place on July 19 at Wembley Stadium in London. At stake are the WBA, WBO, WBC, IBO, and IBF titles, reports Baltimore Chronicle.
Betting analysts have already released their predictions for the outcome. Current champion Oleksandr Usyk is considered the clear favorite, with odds of 1.20 on his victory. A win for Daniel Dubois is valued significantly lower, at 4.85.
A draw—typically the least likely result in professional boxing—has been given odds of 25.00. The most probable outcome, according to bookmakers, is a win for Usyk via knockout, at 1.80. A decision victory for the Ukrainian is priced at 2.55.
As for the British contender, his chances of an early stoppage are rated at 8.50, while a win by decision is listed at 12.00.
The first bout between Usyk and Dubois took place in August 2023 in Wroclaw, Poland. On that occasion, Usyk knocked out Dubois in the ninth round, successfully defending his WBA, WBO, IBO, and IBF titles.
Usyk, aged 38, boasts an undefeated professional record with 23 wins in 23 fights, including 14 by knockout. In his most recent match, held in December 2024, the Ukrainian defeated Britain’s Tyson Fury in a rematch, retaining his WBA, WBO, WBC, and IBO belts.
Dubois, 27, has a professional record of 22 wins (21 by knockout) in 24 bouts. Nicknamed “Dynamite,” the Brit has suffered two losses—one to Joe Joyce in 2020 and another to Usyk in 2023. In his last appearance in September 2024, Dubois knocked out fellow Brit Anthony Joshua to retain his IBF title.
