The XXXIII Summer Olympics will take place from July 26 to August 11 in Paris.
Friday, 26 July, the XXXIII Summer Olympic Games 2024 will officially begin in Paris. The traditional opening ceremony of the competition is planned on this day.
For the first time in history, the opening ceremony of the Olympics will take place not at the stadium, but along the entire city. 205 teams will sail on 96 ships six kilometers along the Seine River through the city center to the Eiffel Tower.
All team ships will be equipped with cameras that will broadcast the action from the water. 10,500 athletes will cross the 6-kilometer route through the center of Paris (including swimming past Notre Dame Cathedral) and finish in front of the Trocadéro, where the rest of the ceremony and the final opening show will take place.

OI 2024 will last until August 11. In total, 329 sets of medals will be awarded in 32 sports. Ukraine will be represented at these competitions by 140 athletes who will compete in 23 sports
We recall that at the previous Summer Olympics 2020 in Tokyo, which was held in 2021 due to the coronavirus pandemic, Ukraine won 19 awards: one gold, six silver and 12 bronze.
