Oleksandr Shovkovskiy's team beat the Rivne club away.
Dynamo defeated Veres in the match of the 2nd round of the Ukrainian Premier League (UPL) of the 2024/25 season. The match at the Avangard stadium in Rivne ended with a score of 1:2.
In the 15th minute of the match, the “white-blues” put the lead ahead, Nikolai Shaparenko, who shot under the crossbar after a pass from Vladislav Kabaev. Before the break, the Kievites doubled their advantage – in the 44th minute, Vitaliy Buyalsky scored a goal after a pass from Shaparenko.
In the second half, the Rivne club reduced the gap – in the 62nd minute, Dynamo goalkeeper Ruslan Neshcheret made a gross error and kicked the ball straight to Vladislav Sharai, from whom he ended up in the goal.
However, Veres could not avoid defeat. Oleksandr Shovkovskiy's men brought the match to victory.

For “Dynamo” this was the first match in the new UPL season, because the opening round match against “Oleksandria” was postponed.
In the third round of the Ukrainian championship, the Kievites will play away against “Karpaty” on August 17.
