“Alexandria" beat “Kolos" on its home field in the match of the 5th round of the Ukrainian Premier League (UPL) of the 2024/25 season. The match at the Nika stadium ended with a score of 2:1.
The home team took the lead in the 15th minute of the match – Kirill Kovalets scored.
In the second half, Ruslan Rotan's team developed their advantage in the score – Brazilian Dzhevani scored in the 73rd minute in his first match of the new season.
In the 76th minute, the club from Kovalivka reduced the gap thanks to the efforts of Artem Gusol, but Alexander Pozdeev's team was not enough for more.
Review of the match “Alexandria” – “Kolos”
For “Alexandria” this is the fourth victory in four matches at the start of the UPL season. Rotan's team with 12 points became the sole leader of the standings.
“Kolos” still remains without a win in the current Ukrainian championship. The Kovalivka team occupies the penultimate line, having 2 points to their credit.
In the next round of the UPL, after the international break, “Alexandria” will play away against “Obolon” on September 13, and “Kolos” will measure its strength away against LNZ on September 16.
