"Volkov" Croatian specialist Ivan Juric took charge.
Italian Roma announced the appointment of Croatian Ivan Juric as head coach.
This was reported on the club's official website.
Jurić's contract with the “wolves” runs until the end of the current season.
According to La Gazette dello Sport, the agreement provides for the possibility of extending it for another year if Juric leads the Romans to the main stage of the Champions League.
In his coaching career, Juric has experience working with Italian “Mantova”, “Crotone”, “Genoa”, “Verona” and “Torino”, which he left this summer.
Ivan replaced Daniele De Rossi at the helm of the Roman club, who was fired the day before.
After four rounds, “Roma” occupies 16th place in the Serie A standings, having scored only three points.
In the last match, Roma, with the debut goal of Ukrainian forward Artem Dovbyk, missed out a victory over Genoa (1:1) by Ukrainian midfielder Ruslan Malinovsky.
In the next round of Serie A, the Romans will host Udinese on September 22.
