Ruslan Rotan's team returned to first place in the Ukrainian championship.
“Alexandria" beat “Vorskla" in the match of the 10th round of the Ukrainian Premier League (UPL) of the 2024/25 season. The match at the Nika stadium in Alexandria ended with a score of 1:0.
The hosts scored the only goal in this match in the second half. In the 58th minute, Aleksandr Belyaev headed in Nikita Kravchenko's pass at the far post.
We should add that due to a lengthy air raid siren, the start of the match was delayed by 35 minutes.

Thanks to this victory, “Alexandria” (23 points) rose to first place in the UPL. Ruslan Rotan's team is now one point ahead of Dynamo, which has a game in hand. Vorskla remains in 12th place, with 9 points.
In the next round of the Ukrainian championship, the Oleksandrians will host Ingulets on October 26, and the Poltava club will play Veres away a day later.
