The “blue-yellows” remained in 25th place in the world ranking.
The International Football Federation (FIFA) presented an updated ranking of men's national teams following the final matches of the group stage of the 2024/25 Nations League. In it, the Ukrainian national team retained 25th place.
The corresponding rating was published on the official FIFA website.
After the publication of the previous October rating, Serhiy Rebrov's team played two Nations League matches: they drew with Georgia (1:1) and defeated Albania (2:1).
Thanks to this, the Ukrainians took second place in their group of Division B of the Nations League and advanced to the playoffs for the right to advance to the elite Division A, where they will play against Belgium, which occupies the eighth line in the world ranking.
The matches between Ukraine and Belgium will take place on March 20 and 23, 2025. The first meeting will nominally be home for Rebrov's team.
There have been no changes in the top 5 FIFA rankings. The leader remains the Argentina team, which is the current world champion. Second is France, third is Spain, which won Euro 2024. Next are England and Brazil.
