On Friday, December 20, the draw for the 1/16 finals of the UEFA Youth League took place in Nyon, Switzerland. Ukrainian clubs also learned their opponents in the playoffs: Dynamo and”Shakhtar”.
In the 1/16 finals of the tournament, the Kiev team will face the Italian “Atalanta”, and the Donetsk team will meet the German “Hoffenheim”.
Note that this stage consists of one match. The matches will be held on February 11 or 12, 2025.
The winners of the 1/16 finals will advance to the 1/8 finals. “Dynamo” will hold its match at its nominal home arena, and “Shakhtar” will play away.
Earlier, Shakhtar took 14th place in the overall Champions League path standings, and the White-Blues beat Maribor (Slovenia) and 2 Corrika (Kosovo), reaching the 1/16 finals via the Champions Path.
