Alexander wants to become the absolute world heavyweight champion for the second time.
Frank Warren, promoter of IBF world heavyweight champion Daniel Dubois, said that WBA, WBO, WBC and IBO title holder Alexander Usyk shared his plans for the future with him.
According to the promoter, the Ukrainian champion told him that he plans to hold his next fight with the winner of the fight between Briton Daniel Dubois and New Zealander Joseph Parker.
“Usyk told me at the weekend that he would fight the winner of Daniel Dubois vs. Joseph Parker to try to become the undisputed heavyweight champion of the world for a second time,” Warren told the Daily Mail.

The Dubois-Parker fight is scheduled for February 22, 2025 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The day before, the Briton and the New Zealander had their first stare-off.
Let us recall that on the night of December 22, Usyk defeated Tyson Fury in Riyadh (Saudi Arabia) by unanimous decision (three times 116-112) and defended his WBA, WBO, WBC and IBO heavyweight world titles.
Unlike the first fight, the Usyk-Fury rematch did not involve the title of absolute world champion, since Alexander had previously renounced the IBF title. Now it is in the hands of Dubois, who has already managed to defend it by knocking out his compatriot Anthony Joshua.
After Usyk's victory over Fury in the rematch, Dubois climbed into the ring and challenged the Ukrainian to a fight. Alexander agreed and asked to organize a fight with Daniel, whom he had previously knocked out in August 2023.
According to the manager of the Ukrainian champion Egis Klimas, Usyk will have his next fight approximately at the end of July or in August 2025. For now, Alexander is resting, waiting for the result of the title fight between Dubois and Parker.
