On Friday, January 24, the sixth stage of the 2024/25 Biathlon World Cup in Antholz, Italy, continued with the men's sprint.
Ukraine was represented by four biathletes: Anton Dudchenko, Vitalii Mandzyn, Dmytro Pidruchnyi and Taras Lesyuk.
The best result among Ukrainians in this race was shown by Pidruchnyi, who finished fifth with one miss.
In addition to Pidruchnyi, Dudchenko also made it into the pursuit race, and with clean shooting he also made it into the scoring zone – 36th position.
The winner of the sprint was Norwegian Tarjei Bjo. His compatriot Sturla Laegreid took second place, and Italian Tommaso Giacomel rounded out the top three.

Let's add that the day before in Antholz a women's sprint took place, where the best result among Ukrainians was shown by Yulia Dzhima, who closed the top- 10.
There are still four races ahead at the stage in Antholz, which will take place on January 25 and 26: pursuits and classic relays.
