Shrewsbury Town were left without a striker in the first minute of their match against Peterborough United when John Marcus elbowed the home side.
The match referee showed Marcus a straight red card and he had to leave the field.

This is Marcus' first straight red card at Shrewsbury Town, but the second in his career. The player was previously sent off while playing for Portsmouth. The striker also has two red cards after two yellow cards.
