The best result among Ukrainians was shown by Yulia Dzhima.
On Saturday, March 15, the eighth stage of the 2024/25 Biathlon World Cup in Pokljuka, Slovenia, continued with a women's mass start race.
Ukraine was represented by three biathletes: Yulia Dzhima , Kristina Dmitrenko and Elena Gorodnaya , for whom this was her debut mass start at the World Cup level.
The best result among the Ukrainians was shown by Dzhima, who finished 18th. Dmitrenko became 20th, and Gorodnaya finished the race 24th.
The Frenchwoman Lou Jeanmonnot won the mass start. Milena Todorova from Bulgaria took second place, and Slovenian Anamarija Lampic rounded out the top three.

On Sunday, March 16, the Slovenian stage will conclude with the single and classic mixed relays.
The current biathlon season will end with the final stage of the World Cup in Holmenkollen, Norway, which is scheduled for March 21-23.
