Kenny Adams is considered one of the best specialists in boxing history
Legendary American trainer and International Boxing Hall of Fame inductee Kenny Adams died in Las Vegas (USA) at the age of 84.
The specialist is the first black coach in the history of the US national team. In 1988, his team won eight medals (three gold) at the Olympic Games. That team included famous personalities – Riddick Boy, Roy Jones and others.
Adams is considered one of the best trainers in boxing history – he was the trainer of 25 world champions, and his protégés won 22 title fights in a row.
Among the boxers with whom Kenny worked there are many famous names: Samuel Peter, Evander Holyfield, Hasim Rahman, Ray Mercer, Diego Corrales, Johnny Tapia, Nonito Donaire, Edwin Valero, Jorge Linares.
