Roma's Ukrainian forward Artem Dovbyk has been named Serie A's best player in March.
During March, the Roman club played four matches in the Italian championship, successively winning over Como (2:1), Empoli (1:0), Cagliari (1:0) and Lecce (1:0). Dovbyk scored three goals in these four matches.
In the fight for the title of best player of March, Artem Dovbyk beat out Nicola Barella (Inter), Luca Da Cunha (Como), Nicolo Fagioli (Fiorentina), Riccardo Orsolini (Bologna) and Umar Sole (Udinese).
In total, Artem Dovbyk has played 40 matches for Roma in all tournaments this season, scoring 16 goals and making 4 assists.
Roma are seventh in the Serie A table and are fighting for a place in the Champions League.
Claudio Ranieri's team will play their next match on April 13 – it will be the Rome derby against Lazio.
