ArsenalAlexandra Zinchenko defeated Bournemouth Ilya Zabarny in the home match of the 36th round of the English Premier League (EPL). The match between the Ukrainian teams ended with the score 3:0.
Mikel Arteta's team took the lead at the end of the first half – in the 45th minute the penalty was converted by Bukayo Saka after Cherries goalkeeper Mark Travers brought down Kai Havertz in his own penalty area.
In the second half of the match, the Gunners increased their lead in the score. In the 70th minute, Leandro Trossard received a pass from Declan Rice on the left flank of the penalty area and sent the ball into the far corner.
In the 73rd minute of the match the visitors could have reduced the gap, but Antoine Semenio's goal after reviewing the video replay (VAR) was canceled due to a violation of the rules.
In the 86th minute, the Gunners were close to scoring, but Gabriel's beautiful goal into the top corner was not counted due to offside.
And yet, Arsenal scored the third goal. In stoppage time, in the 90+7th minute, Rice scored after a pass from Gabriel Jesus.
Note that Zabarny played the entire match as part of ” Bournemouth”, and Zinchenko never entered the field from the Arsenal bench.

Thanks to this victory, Arsenal (83 points) strengthened their lead in the Premier League. Arteta's side are four points clear of Manchester City, who have two games in hand. Bournemouth (48 points) is in tenth position.
In the next round of the Premier League, the Gunners will play away against Manchester United on May 12. A day earlier, Andoni Iraola's team will host Brentford, another Ukrainian Yegor Yarmolyuk.
