Ukrainian national team midfielder Alexander Zinchenko demonstrated an excellent sense of humor at a press conference on the eve of the semi-final match of the play-off qualifying for Euro 2024 against the national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
After one of the journalists asked a question in Bosnian, the 27-year-old Arsenal player replied that he understood everything and did not need the help of a translator.
Then Zinchenko immediately said that he was joking and this was a reference to the funny reaction of the former winger of the Ukrainian national team Yevgeny Konoplyanka, when he allegedly understood the question of a foreign journalist after the return match of the Euro 2016 qualifying playoffs against Slovenia.
The Ukrainian Football Association (UAF) quickly combined both points and published the corresponding video on Twitter.
