 Everton were again deducted points in the Premier League for violating financial fair play

Everton Ukrainian defender Vitaly Mykolenko was deprived of two more points in the standings of the English Premier League (EPL) for the 2023/24 season for violating financial fair play rules .

This was reported on the official website of the Premier League.

The fine imposed by the independent commission, to which the Premier League sent Everton in January, is the second in this campaign for the Toffees and concerns three-year reporting period, which ends with the 2022/23 season.

Note that in November last year,Everton were deprived of 10 points in the Premier Leaguefor violation financial fair play rules. However, the Merseyside club filed an appeal, which was partially upheld and 4 points were returned to the Toffees.

Thus, Everton were fined a total of 8 points this season. After the latest punishment, Sean Dyche's team has 27 points and dropped to 16th place in the Premier League, which is two points above the relegation zone.
