Ukrainian light middleweight boxer Serhiy Bohachuk (26-3, 24 KO) faced American fighter Brandon Adams (26-4, 16 KO) in a rematch. The bout ended with a unanimous decision victory for the American, reports Baltimore Chronicle.
The fight took place on September 14 in the light middleweight division (up to 69.8 kg). After 10 rounds, the judges scored the fight 99:91, 98:92, and 98:92 in favor of Adams.
The first minutes of the opening round were active for both fighters: Adams focused on body shots, while Bohachuk aimed for his opponent’s head. In the second round, the Ukrainian controlled the pace, landing precise uppercuts, but towards the end of the three minutes, Adams managed to deliver a few effective combinations.
Rounds three and four featured close exchanges at short range. In the fifth round, Adams gained the advantage with accurate body shots. Bohachuk attempted to turn the fight in his favor by combining attacks at different levels, but his opponent absorbed the blows effectively and responded with sharp combinations of his own.
In the following rounds, the American maintained control, with more precise and effective punches. The final decision confirmed Adams’ clear victory. For Bohachuk, this performance was among his weakest in recent years.
It is worth noting that in 2021, Adams had already defeated Bohachuk in a surprise outcome. At that time, the Vinnytsia boxer held an undefeated record of 18-0 (18 KO). Since that loss, Bohachuk has competed in eight fights, winning seven of them.
